Why are horses ridden and handled the way they are?

Are you finding that the answers you are given never make much sense?

Are you wondering if there is another, maybe better way?

These are the questions that set Nathan Day on his quest for a better understanding and communication with the horse. Regardless of what sport or discipline one chooses, true horsemanship is understanding concepts, philosophies, the nature and behaviour of the horse and how to communicate with them in a way that they understand, therefore being able to adjust to fit any situation with any horse, in any discipline.

Through Desire, Dedication, and Determination, Nathan has developed a talent that is obvious when one observes his calm but effective manner when starting young horses, handling difficult horses or just helping a horse learn, as well as presenting his understanding of Equine behaviour to his audience so they too can communicate better with their horses.
